The AG-Ukrainehilfe Regensburg Medical Association is pleased about a donation of EUR 10,000 from the "BMW Group Plant Regensburg". Carsten Regent, the new plant manager of the Regensburg BMW plant, and the mayor of the city of Regensburg, Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer, handed over the check to members of the AG-Ukrainehilfe in the old town hall.
This was preceded by an initiative by Mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer: a letter to the companies and businesses based in Regensburg called for donations for the activities of the AG-Ukrainehilfe. We would like to thank the "BMW Group Werk Regensburg" and Carsten Regent for the donation, as well as the mayor of the city of Regensburg Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer for the support and your commitment.
This money donation will be used, among other things, to purchase urgently needed medical supplies and specialist equipment and send them to the Ukraine. We are making a contribution to supporting the medical staff on site in treating the wounded and injured.

With a sprinter full of donations we were on the road in the Ukraine to intensify our contacts: from now on our fixator donations will be implemented directly in the Ukraine: the small business
HB ORTHO UA manufactures fixators in the Ukraine itself. Buying directly from Ukraine saves on expensive transport and customs costs and supports the regional economy. 🇺🇦 Through the own fundraiser of the "Uni-Accident Surgeons" ( https://gofund.me/37154555 ) the first are already
89 fixators in production and will be delivered directly to the target clinics in the next 2 weeks.
Donations in cash and in kind (2 pallets of medicines (PLAST - Ukrainischer Pfadfinderbund in Österreich + Пласт - Австралія), 9 oxygen compressors with accessories for adult and child ventilation, 30 kg fixator clamps, 1000 tourniquets and 400 kg Consumables) have been forwarded to Odessa, Rivne and Kyjiv, from where the doctors will distribute them to the target clinics.
Thank you for your donations!!
